Data Quality

Scope of quality information:
Level of the data:dataset
Resource lineage:
Lineage statement: This layer was created from a combination of multiple layer files containing boundaries of: First Nation Land Claim Final Agreements, Self Government Agreements, First Nation Memorandum of Understanding, Municipal Boundaries, Planning Bylaw, Local Advisory Areas, Local Area Plans, and Development Area Regulations. Older boundaries came from digitizing off old mylars, paper copies, or from Development Area Plan Books. Newer Boundaries were first digitized using AutoCAD software and traced to this layer. Origins were from UTM NAD 83, Zones 7 through 10. Most recent boundaries were digitized using ArcMap. AutoCAD software is still in use as in most cases.
