        <idPurp>A Local Area Plan (LAP) and a Community Plan are documents that guide existing and future Land Use within a particular boundary. Each Plan is the precursor to which Development Area Zoning Regulations are created. This layer of information contains all polygons of Land Use Designations (Current and Future) that pertains to Local Area Plans and Community Plans. Any changes to Land Use Designations are amended by "Addendum" and approved by Minister of Energy, Mines and Resources. This layer of information should be used in conjunction with "Land Use Designations Line" layer.</idPurp>
