Abstract: Locations of Forest Management Branch Permanent Sample Plots. The plots are measured every 5 years to compile growth and yield information across the many forest types and regions of the Yukon.Distributed from GeoYukon by the Government of Yukon. Purpose: The PSP dataset is intended for two main uses: 1) to assist foresters in locating the plots in the field (locations collected by differential GPS) 2) to assist land-use and resource planners by indicating the existence of these plot locations, which are valuable to yukon's forestry program.
