These Local Advisory Area Boundaries are created by OIC as per the Municipal Act and have a Council that advises the YG Minister on local matters including works and services and regulations within these boundaries. Any changes are put forward to the respective Council. Each Council is comprised of residents, First Nation members, and Yukon Government. This is the Community voice in the process of developing plans.

dataset
Older boundaries came from digitizing old mylars, paper copies, or from Plan documents. Newer Boundaries were digitized using AutoCAD Map 3D and traced in ArcMap. Origins were from UTM NAD 83, Zones 7 through 10.
